Meaning-less Numbers Appear in Records and Archives

Meaning-less numbers appear in records and archives. We know what they are but we don't make any sense from them. Just two numbers. They're the prisoner and cremation number of one of roughly six million people killed in an act of genocide just over sixty years ago. I wonder if we read the entire list of the dead would, these numbers stand out?
Would we stop and consider and regard this number in particular? No of course we wouldn't, they're just numbers scribed into this archive, and stored in a building we would not normally visit. Unless we were an historian, or more specifically, one who held a particular interest in the topic and more specifically again if we were Mark baker we would be staring right at the numbers 5503 and 483. This seemingly meaningless and insignificant fact then grew to become part of history through the memories of mark's father, Yossl. These numbers attached themselves to Yossl's father, Leibush.
