was involved in a car accident on 11/19/02. I contacted State farm and advised them of my accident. I was contacted by a claim representative who set up a time to look at my SUV to estimate the cost of repair. The representative looked at my SUV on 11/26/02, and estimated to cost of repair to be 1,873.44 minus my deductible of 250.00. Under my current policy, I was entitled to a rental of a car until my SUV was repaired. I made arrangements to rent a car on 12/06/02, and was advised that under my current policy, state farm would pick %80 of my rental cost and I would be responsible for the remaining %20. On 12/17/02 I received a call from the repair shop where my SUV was being repaired, and was advised that the original estimate of 1,873.44 was wrong, and that there were additional damages of about $600 to $700.
