Matrix to Scripture

“The Matrix is everywhere. It is all around us, even now in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work, when you go to church, when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.” This line, stated by Morpheus, shows that the Matrix is the façade that we live in, thinking it is the truth. The movie, The Matrix is an over view of the entire Christian church. The Matrix symbolically portrays much of Christianity relating to the followers of the faith, including the desire to seek out God, the daily battles with Satan, and ending with the ultimate belief in God.
