Mass Media are the cultural industries that produce and distribute songs, novels, newspapers, movies, Internet services, and other cultural products to large number of people. Before television and books children learned by word of mouth what television does today. Television has more of an impact now than Grandma does. Television has evolved along with society. Commercials also impact a person’s lifestyle; the better a commercial is the more chances the company has to sell their product. So it is an on going war with companies trying to be the best with the newest equipment to come up with better commercials. Companies have many persuasive tactics at their disposal to attract their viewers. For instance Mountain Dew tries to sell it beverages by using car stunts.
