Marvin Zindler was born in Houston Texas on August 10, 1921 and attended the John Tarleton Agricultural College in Stephenville, Texas. In 1941 Marvin Zindler joined the Marines just in time for World War II. Marvin Zindler began his broadcasting career in 1943 as a radio disc jockey while working for the family’s clothing business. He was not happy working at the family’s clothing store so he took a job with the Harris County Sheriff’s Department where he was asked to establish a Consumer Fraud Division with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
