Martin Luther King Jr. and Treason?

As the father of modern civil rights movement, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is recognized around the world as a symbol of freedom, peace, and nonviolent civil disobedience. When he spoke, one would listen in awe, hearing his persuasive voice influentially reach out to others. He definitely had the power of persuasion and tried to influence non-violent acts. Although Martin Luther king was a minority, not only did he speak for his own race, he spoke for the general public. He was a man of color with a passionate soul who spoke out willingly in order to express his true feelings about any matter. Obviously, not everyone agreed with what this man influenced, but others did, and proceeded to watch Dr. King become one of the greatest non-violent leaders of our history. It has been said that Martin Luther King Jr. has committed treasonous acts. Given the information known about King, I have concluded these accusations are false.
