Martin Luther King Jr.

“It would be nice if everyone stopped fighting; there were no more wars and the world was all in peace, but I can guarantee, it won’t happen in your life time.” Is it reasonable in today’s warring and global society to expect Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream to be fulfilled? His dream of brotherhood, and that all men are created equal? In 1963, he delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech on the steps of the Lincoln memorial in Washington D.C. His intent was to stop segregation and plagiarism against black people in his time. But fifty years later, we must face the fact that everyone is still not free from the “chains of discrimination.” Black people in America are treated as equals by most but there are still people who are plagiaristic, and people who still forget that all men are created equal, when it comes to religion and nationality.
