Marketing Mix

The Chubb Corporation was formed in 1967 and was listed on the New York Stock

Exchange in 1984. Today, Chubb stands among the largest insurers in the United States

and the world. Chubb¡¯s 10,000 property and casualty employees serve customers from

110 offices throughout North America, Europe, South America and the Pacific Rim.

For Chubb as a whole, it is looking for good premium growth and underwriting

profitability. Among the competitors, Chubb needs to find out its competitive advantages

and its strengths so as to reach its strategic goals. In this paper, I would like to discuss

the marketing mix Chubb implemented: the new products it launched, its price strategic,

the advertising campaign and the new market Chubb is entering into. As an industry giant

and a well-managed corporation, Chubb did very well on the former three aspects and I
