Mark

The main narrative features of Mark’s Gospel from 3:7 to 6:6 are the words spoken by Christ and the actions he did. Through these words and actions as described by Mark one can begin to understand the mission of Jesus and the importance of faith. By telling crowds of people parables and performing miracles and exorcisms Christ starts to reveal the reason he has been placed on earth. Even though in doing so he is scrutinized by the Pharisees and members of his family, Christ continues to teach the people that having faith in him and knowing his powers are the most important aspects of life because it ensures a place with him after death.
