Marisol 1

Wow!! This play was incredible, interesting, imaginative, and out of this world. In reading this play I was thinking that the play wright’s imagination was amazing in how he created these different scenes and situations, it made me feel that I was reading a play that was based on a nightmare that occurred to someone. Throughout the play I was relating it to a revolution that could have occurred in Latin America. Each character in the play represented a group of people that could have been affected or involved in a revolution. For example, the angel clearly represented a solider of the guerilla army and God and his loyal angels represented the dictatorship. The other characters in my opinion symbolize those individuals whose lives were affected by the causes of the revolution. For example, the Homeless Person and Scar Tissue represent those people who were caught in the crossfire and were suffering from the economic depression involved in a revolution.
