Sanger was the first woman to dare to speak on birth control. Her impact in fields of birth control, contraception, women's health care, sexuality, and reproductive rights is still felt today. The reason Sanger felt so strongly about these issues was her frustration with a society that allowed men to be sexually promiscuous while women were forced to restrain themselves because of risk of pregnancy.
