EVM Motion Management leadership is taking the approach to the participating style of leadership. EVM is in participating style of leadership because in EVM Motion Management, we consult with, obtain advice from, or ask the opinions of our employees before making decisions. In our company we ask for such information or recommendations, but ultimately our CEO will still be the one to make and is responsible for the final decision.
Participating style of leadership is appropriate in situations when those whom you are leading are fairly competent and support your goal. Allowing them to participate can be a powerful team-building process. It will increase confidence and support if everyone has a part in developing the final plan and that is exactly what our company EVM stands for.
