☻Pathophysiology: Malrotation- “the term malrotation may refer to any anomaly of midget rotation. Anomalies of mixed rotation or of incomplete rotation.” (Wylie, 1999, p. 750) “The small intestine lacks a normal posterior fixation in malrotation because it has only a rudimentary attachment near the origin of the superior mesenteric artery.
