Major Gods and Goddesses

The major Gods and Goddesses that were covered in class were Zeus, his mates, and their sons and daughters. They all have different main priorities, favorite animals; birth myths, archetypal identities, and they all take different sides on the Trojan War.

Most of everything with the Gods and Goddesses stems from Zeus. The myth of Zeus’ birth is a complicated one. He was born from Cronus and Rhea; Cronus swallowed all of his children as they were born except Zeus. Zeus tricked Cronus into regurgitating his siblings then he overthrew Cronus and ruled the sky and stayed in Mount Olympus. His chief priority is to be powerful and to build a kingdom. He sided with the Greeks in the Trojan War because he enjoys the traditional way that things are. His favorite animal is the eagle because it soars above everything lick his home in Mount Olympus and it is a powerful bird like he is a powerful God. Zeus is God of the sky and his archetype is that of a shaman like the God...
