Magazine Review-Dolly

Dolly beach. Get your summer sorted. Mega double issue. Real girls. Get cashed up. How to train problem parents. Nowhere on the front cover does it mention anything about 93 pages containing advertisements.

This issue of dolly has two covers. The main cover is fluoro orange with fluoro colours for headings. This is eye-catching, and also relates to the new season, summer. The other cover, Dolly Beach, shows a picture of two girls having fun at a beach. The headings on both covers are all about exciting or large features. So why doesn’t the cover say special issue “93 advertisements”?

This magazine does deliver what it promises on the cover, but don’t you think if a magazine contained 93 pages of particular type of material it would make the front cover? Well I do. But ACP publishing mustn’t agree with me!

Over 50% of this magazine is taken up by ads. The other part of the magazine contains articles about personal girls stuff or general gossip and even a quiz or two...
