Madame Bovary and Emma

In Madame Bovary, there are many similarities and differences between Emma and Charles as they appear in the novel and film. In Madame Bovary the film Emma seemed to love sex much more than she did in the novel. In the film the only thing mainly on Emma's mind was to have sex. Her being pleased sexually, meant more to her than her own family. In the novel Charles was a very important character, but in the film he is almost non-existent. In the film it seemed like Charles was an additional character that liked Emma and wanted to have sex with her. The image of Emma in the film was that she was a sex object because almost everyone wanted to have sex with her because they knew that it was easy to lure her into bed.
Emma had some similarities between the novel and the film. In the novel and film Emma loved sex, but in the film she was obsessed with it. For example, in the film the only thought on her mind was to have sex because every time she saw Rodolphe or Leon she wanted to have sex w...
