ReadSoft felt a far simpler, less expensive scheme was possible. They proposed replacing Avon's order booklet of 20+ pages with a one-page purchase order, designed to be read by ReadSoft’s FORMS software.

AVON Mexico awarded ReadSoft the assignment and ReadSoft’s Professional Services team began the installation immediately. “While actual installation of FORMS only took three weeks, substantial work went into the design of the form itself,” said AVON Mexico’s project leader Jose Guerrero. “Tests were conducted with sales representatives to ensure the form’s ease of use, while over 100,000 prototype forms were run through the system in a one-month dry run to determine if typical processing volumes could be accommodated.”
