M.C. Escher

Maurits Cornelis Escher, also know as M.C. was born on June the seventeenth of

1898. He was born and raised in the Netherlands. This meaning that he was Dutch.

His parent’s names were Arnold and Sarah Escher. Eshcer's family always tried to

Make him study to be a carpenter, but that wasn't for him. He was an artist at heart

and that’s all he could and would be. His parents finally acknowledged his artistic skills

and gave him their blessings.

He was a student at the School for Architecture and decorative Arts. While going to

school he realized that he really had a passion for graphic designing. While at school

he managed to master graphic design and woodcutting design. Two things that

interested him immensely.

After school he started to travel. Some of his favorite places were Spain, Southern
