Indeed, after the assassination of the “Prince of America” the most powerful position in America was “transferred to this “conservative” Texan, this master, political manipulator, peerless “boss of the Senate”. Truly, Johnson was an exceptional President, and the time was right for a man of his political views to make an appearance in American politics.
