Lovely Bones

Lovely Bones is a good book but it has a horrible ending. It’s the story of Susie Salmons murder and the investigation that goes along with it. Susie, herself looking down from heaven, tells the story. It shows in depth how her murder had affected others that were close to her. The book makes it very clear how people are feeling and how she is reacting to the happenings on earth. The chapters move pretty logically. There are a few parts where it skips back and forth but it makes sense because it’s mainly about her memories. Some of the characters were very well developed while others weren’t as well. It was mainly people she was very close to that were better developed. You get a good idea of how her parents are. Her sister and brother aren’t as clear but are still shown pretty good. You don’t get a good idea at all on how the officer and her grandma...
