Love

The dictionary definition of love can only tell so much. But love goes beyond that. What is love really? Love is not only defined by Webster, but also in songs, poems and by a person’s perspective. A wise man once said “Love is a wonderful thing.” But even this doesn’t define love beyond the vague realm of wonderful. When exploring the origin of the word love, it is found that love is a derivative of the Latin word “causemajoraproblemus” which means, “Youre miserable when you got it and miserable when you don’t.” Star crossed lovers such as Romeo and Juliet, stated that love is not hand nor foot nor any part belonging to a man. Matrimonial ceremonies also claim that love is not boastful or jealous. Instead, love is a counterpart to thunderstorms, goes well with pizza and picnic blankets. Love is wet sand beneath bare toes.
