Love

I've many assignments to complete before the morning. I fear I may postpone such and not sleep again this night. In fact, I know well of this arrangement. I miss you..kept looking at your picture, holding it against my breast; leaving kiss prints all over the frame, layers on layers. Napped with such against my cheek, a minute or so (felt as such) when the sun too quickly rose. Opened my eyes to your stubby thumb and gorgeous smirk. I do wish it was your the lips I kissed this morning, and not the awkward chill from glass; how warm and soft they must be...lonely, too. I smiled for you, as you grinned at me (as you always do, every morning) to the echo of your voice I sat and thought what a blessing you are for me.

I wish you knew me, before I ever heard your voice. My concern, and heart, was with soil and my mother who threw me on her shoulders and sunk very quickly. I was ...
