My story begins where the second book, “The Two Towers,” left off. “The Return Of The King” is the 3rd and final installment of “The Lord Of The Rings” series. The three books follow the quest to destroy the ring of power, an ancient ring forged by the evil Sauron. When Sauron last possessed the ring he tried to enslave Middle Earth (the land where the story takes place) and kill all those who defied him. However, Sauron was defeated and the ring was lost, but it has been found again and must be destroyed. Things will not be easy though, because Sauron’s evil has already begun to stir in the lands of Middle Earth, and all he needs is the ring to give him the power to enslave the world.
