Lord of The Flies

Lord of the Flies by William Golding is an excellent book that displays the tendencies of human nature without the confinement of adult society. The story describes a group of adolescent boys that become standard on an island and forced to create a society of their own. The author draws you in with his exceptional descriptions of the setting and characters alike.
Included among these boys is Ralph, the main character of the story. Ralph attempts to lead but lacks the ability to get the rest of the group to follow him.
