Looking myself

Looking At Myself

In writing this piece, I find that one of the hardest things to do is to look at oneself and explore one¡¯s personality, and question it and examine it. Many times, it feels easier to think about someone else¡¯s character and life- maybe because introspection is more complex and thought-provoking. Well, as of late, I¡¯ve come to agree with Socrates in that ¡°the unexamined life is not worth living!¡±

Some words that I¡¯d use to describe myself are: determined, social but shy, respectful, trust-worthy, stubborn, sensitive, reliable and responsible. I say ¡°social but shy¡± because I do enjoy the company of others very much, but I think I¡¯m introspective at times. I do much thinking (on virtue or ethics or whatever) so I guess I¡¯m more inclined to be alone; but I value greatly the friends that I have and am friend...
