Longevity Questionnaire
I was given the longevity questionnaire to calculate my life expectancy based on a series of questions that dealt with different things. Many of the questions I found to be applicable, and many I found to be irrelevant. This paper is a summary of my thoughts on the questionnaire, and a few things that I think could be added to the questionnaire to make it more accurate.
The first section in the longevity questionnaire deals with you relatives. It asks questions based on the longevity and health of your parents, grandparents, and siblings. I thought that the questions about your families were very important in determining how long you may live because a lot of health problems are genetic. I do not, however, think that how long your grandparents or parents live have anything to do with how long you will live because medicine and technology has advanced since their time.
