The Atlantic Star Ice & Coal Co. originally constructed this imposing structure in 1926 and operated the facility until the late 1960s, as one of Atlanta¹s largest producers of ice and coal. Braden Fellman Group began construction on this award winning project in the spring of 1999. The project carefully incorporates the existing historic structure into a mix of nostalgic rehabilitation, and thoughtfully designed new construction that complements the property and the surrounding neighborhood.

This attention to detail led the project to be granted a Design award from the Decatur Historic Preservation Commission for Adaptive Reuse. The buildings feature a variety of studio, one, and two bedroom loft homes featuring dramatic architecture and abundant natural light.
