Live Your Life Day by Day

Every now and then, people need inspiration. Whether it is from a friend, a family member, or even a quote. It took me quite a while to find a quote that best fits how I feel, so I was very happy when I stumbled across this quote on the internet. “Live neither in the past nor in the future, but let each day’s work absorb your entire energies, and satisfy your wildest ambition.” Sir William Osler wrote this quote. Sir William Osler was born in 1849 and died in 1919. He was the best-known physician in the English-speaking world at the turn of the century, called the “most influential physician in history.” Sir William grew up in Dundas, Canada West, and trained in medicine at the University of Toronto and McGill. He finally obtained his MD at McGill in 1872. In 1889 he became the first professor of medicine at Johns Hopkins University. He was an expert in diagnosis of diseases of the heart, lings and blood.
