Any one who reads the bible knows that Eve was the first woman, right? Yeah, she came from Adam, and the Apple and serpent came along and they got kicked out of their nice little garden.
I don't think that's the accurate story. I propose that the stories that have been passed on from age to age have more to them then the general public knows or cares to know. I propose that, mythologically speaking (as it is the creation myth) Lilith was the first woman. Not only is Lilith the first woman, but Lilith is the first feminist, a symbol of the powerful figure that women are and should be recognized as. However, this is not a happy story. Lilith has been sabotaged. No longer can we recognize her as a powerful woman figure, not afraid to stand up for what she believes is right, what she feels, and what she wants, but we have been trained to see her as dark and evil.
