Like an ant

I am Honduran, and thank God, also Chilean. I have lived in Honduras for the past 13 years (to be completed August 1, 2003). I am tired and worried for this country. I am tired of reading the newspaper, so instead of reading or hearing the news of here I tune CNN en Español. I still have to listen to Honduras’s daily news because my mother tunes them early in the morning.

I am amazed of the lack of shame our politics have. I am tired of them too. I can’t believe people believe in them. Why do they keep voting? Why can’t they realize that they are all the same? Why can’t they notice they all say the same things but different ways? Why don’t they notice they talk in first person in their speeches, when it really should be plural? Why can’t we be smart enough to create a party of only three generation 100% Honduran-born politicians, so we can finally have ONLY HONDURANS in our government?
