Life is like the Road
The poem ¡°The Road Not Taken¡± written by Robert Frost gives me a king of image that the road mentioned in the poem is rather like the life. Frost feels it a petty that he could not take both of the roads which actually made me consider it as a metaphor of life.
At the very beginning of the poem Frost tells us ¡°Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both¡±, here we can clearly noticed that it seemed that the great poet has a very complicated feeling about the choice of the road but in my opinion he is in trouble choosing his way of life. Because when I read this verse and compared it with the third verse ¡°Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back.¡±, I found that Frost is really puzzled with his way of life.
