Life as a Neanderthal

I have chosen to write my story about the life of a Neanderthal. Neanderthals existed about 30 000 to 300 000 years ago. Using information I have gathered from various sources I will be describing a Neanderthal’s daily life activities, their rituals, culture, the tools they used and their methods of communicating to one another.
I woke up to the smell of fresh forest grass and trees. The sun was shining brightly, however the harsh cold temperatures of Europe were still hard to bare with. Today will be a busy day, just like any other, and there are many things to do.
I first went to sharpen my stone tools. It was very important that we had our tools in perfect condition when we hunted for optimal hunting time and to catch a lot of animals. My tribe didn’t really have any strategy when we hunted; we relied on our force of power more than anything, however we were excellent hunters.
