Lewis & Clark Primary Source Paper

Getting the journal entries for this paper was easy enough, filtering through them and finding out which ones I would best like to use for the paper were, on the other hand, very difficult.
On March third 1804 Meriwether Lewis wrote about how members of the expedition were taking advantage of leave, usually going under the cover of hunting or business and instead of whatever, getting intoxicated. This tells me that Lewis and Clark didn’t have total control on this expedition, and that many problems like this one were to happen in the coming years.
On March ninth and tenth 1804 Meriwether Lewis was there in ST. Louis to witness the transference of the Louisiana territory from Spain to France then to America. This shows the incredibly lucky America was for the unlikely events that took place to enable America to get the Louisiana territory for 15 millions dollars.
On May thirteenth 1804 William Clark wrote about attaining the necessary provisions and such. This was ...
