Let's Think about Coexistence of Smokers and Nonsmokers

Nonsmokers tend to think just that smokers should consider more about them, but they also should understand smokers.@ Some companies tried prohibiting their employees from smoking. Thanks to this attempt, the air in these companies became clean and nonsmokers were glad, though the number of smokers who left work to smoke increased. What do you think of this attempt? Is it indeed rational?
Some nonsmokers propose that smoking should be banned in all public places, because tobacco, especially secondhand smoke, is no good for our health. @Though I hate smoke and I know smoke sometimes causes cancer and asthma, I canft possibly assent to this proposal because about fifty percent of men and ten percent of women in Japan smoke.
