Let’s Stand Up For Freedom of A Change

Drugs, and marijuana in particular have become one of the most influential forces in our country. The question of what the law on marijuana should look like is the burning issue of our day and no one stays aloof. What should we do about it? Should we continue to criminalize? Or should we legalize? The problem became critical, but the only solution that our government accepts to this day, is to strengthen the policy on prohibition. While the United States legislation continues to increases its annual spending on punishment-oriented system, taxpayers are only left to wonder, whether the government is spending their money the right way. Our present system of attempting to control drug abuse through the criminal law is vulnerable to criticism.
