Problem Statement
The problems at Faith Hospital seem to be many. While the hospital has a Mission Statement, it seems that everyone has their own interpretation of what the words in the Mission Statement mean. Medical services are not consistently administered. It does not seem that there are clear processes, guidelines, and policies in place to ensure that everyone is operating on the same page. In addition, the number of patients is down 7% and costs are rising. Last year, the cost per patient was $217. This year the cost is $240 per patient.
