Legalization of Marijuana
To legalize marijuana would bring about monumental change in several areas of society: removing the temptation that surrounds the act of using marijuana; eliminating the need for black markets, robbery, murder and all the other insidious elements connected with illicit drug use; reduce taxpayer dollars that currently filter through the criminal justice system; and thin out significantly overcrowded prison populations. People would be left to their own accord as to how much and when they consumed without the infiltration of law enforcement authorities, thus enabling the crime rate to drop considerably and to finally establish societies where drugs are not at the root of virtually all criminal activity.
