Learning Writing Assignment

Classical Learning generally speaking is the linking of two stimuli, anything that affects the five senses, to create the same response. In the example that will be used Classical Learning will teach a bear to dance to the sound of an organ. To start off, the bear will be put on a heated grille. When the surface gets too hot, the bear will raise its paws. The heat of the grille is an Uncontrolled Stimulus (US), which means that it produces an Unconditioned Response (UR), or a reflex-like action, which was raising its paw because of the heat. As the bear lifts a paw the organ will play a note. The sound of the organ is the Conditioned Stimulus (CS), which is a neutral sense that does not produce an acknowledged response at the beginning of learning. The organ began to be played in time with each step the bear takes.
