The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

The Latter-day Saints branch of the Christian church has been around for 170 years.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is most commonly known as the Mormon

Church. However, the term "Mormon" is incorrect; it is actually "Church of Jesus Christ

Latter-day Saints". "Latter-day Saints are actually encouraged not to use the term

'Mormon'. It is a different name. People are often confused by the term thinking that we

worship Moroni," said member Ariel Tyhurst. By clarifying the customs of the Latter-day

Saints, one can prove or disprove

they are truly Christians.

A small amount of background is needed to establish the origin of the Church of Jesus

Christ of Latter-day Saints. The beginning of this religion is usually associated with the
