Korea cinema art

I love to watch movies, but I don¡¯t think I belong to those who watch movies just for fun. These days, many people find theatre just to kill their time and expect the movie to excite their peripheral senses only. Along with that, movie industry¡¯s only concern is, for most of the time, to satisfy fun-oriented appetite of audience. However, I believe movie is movie when it penetrates deep into audience¡¯s heart and leaves some message in it rather than just giving momentary amusement. One of the movies that touched my heart is ¡®My Heart¡¯ produced by Bae Chang Ho. ¡®My Heart¡¯ not only conveyed valuable message in it but also corrected my prejudice and aroused my interest on Korean movies.
The movie ¡®My heart¡¯ portraits the life of Korean women in 19¡¯s through Soon-ni, the main character of the story. Like other Korean women in that period of time, Soon-ni suffers from burdensome works at household, pressure from parents-in-law, and even witnesses her husband ...
