Kinds of bad lies.

I think there are three kinds of bad lies.

The first of bad lie is the self-protective lie. Its purpose is to protect the liar from being blamed or punished. Children often tell this kind of lie to avoid getting in trouble: "I didn't throw the rock. I don't know how the window got broken."
