Karl Marx

Karl Marx was most famous for writing "The Communist Manifesto" alongside Frederick Engels, published in 1848. The feedback from their book was astounding, and it spread the knowledge of Communism around widely. Communism is a system where all economic decisions are made by the government, and the government owns all the major forms of production. Marx saw much wealth created by capitalism, but noted the poor working conditions and living conditions of laborers in the 1800s. Marx is known as "The Father of Communism."
