In 1832 in Hiram, Ohio Joseph Smith was just getting ready for bed when a mob of about 40 men had gathered in the woods outside the Smiths home waiting for all of the lights to be extinguished. After all the lights had been turned off the men waited patiently until they were sure everyone in the household was asleep. The approached the house very quietly and opened the door.
