JOHN F. KENNEDY


John F. Kennedy was the thirty-fifth President of the United States. The youngest ever to be elected to the presidency. John F. Kennedy became President in 1961. He received the love and support of most Americans, but sadly to say his term as President ended shortly. On November 22, 1963 he was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. The nation mourned at the death of one of the greatest president of the United States.

Kennedy was inaugurated as President on January 20, 1961. He devoted his entire inaugural address to international affairs, calling on his fellow citizens “ ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country”. He also said “ to bear the burden for a long twilight struggle, year in and year out, … against the common enemies of man: tyranny, poverty, disease, and war itself “.
