On January 20th, 1961, on the steps of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., John F. Kennedy was inaugurated as the thirty-fifth president of the United States. Kennedy was the youngest candidate ever elected to the presidency, and also the country's first Catholic president. John. F Kennedy can be seen as one of the greatest speakers of all time. His “Inaugural Address” was the 2nd in the 100 greatest speeches of all time behind “I Had A Dream” by Martin Luther King Jr.
John F. Kennedy was a great speaker; he had the ability to give such eloquent speeches that inspired many people. His most inspirational was his Inaugural address, which was delivered on Friday, January 20th 1961.
