Jewish Immigrants

My book called, From the Workers’ State to the Golden State is written by Steven J. Gold. I have four book reviews written about the book and they each explain something different. I chose this book because it relates to the religion I am, which is Jewish, and describes my background heritage. The people were Soviet Jews from the USSR, known as Russia today. As for the book itself, each chapter talks about something new and to get an idea of the reviews, I will give some feedback of what the book is dealing with. The first part of this book talks about why they came. The second part talks about family patterns. This talks about a family coming to America after Kiev and how they are surviving. The third part talks about earning a living in a new society. Women in the professional field are trying to earn a living and how they are doing it.
