Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte is an in-depth novel about a complex young woman. The reader follows Jane Eyre from an unjust childhood through a strenuous adolescence and into an accomplished adulthood. Bronte creates diverse settings that are significant to Jane’s character including the education, discipline, and acceptance of death she takes from Lowood, the profound love she develops in Thornfield, and the joyous discovery in Ferdean of a renewed and completed life.
