James Madison

James Madison was the fourth president of the U.S. He is known as the father of the Constitution. He was very intellegent, and prepared every part of this important document.


James Madison was an important leader under the President Thomas Jefferson. He helped Thomas Jefferson in a lot of ways. Madison became president during an important time period, The War of 1812.


When James was young he was usually ill. He loved to read and studied many books all his life. Whenm he went to collage, he only attende two years.
