You wake up, turn on the T.V., and what do you hear? There has been a terrorist bombing
somewhere in the world. What are your first thoughts? Many people would think “Muslim
Fundamentalists.” This unfortunately is a stereotype. In every religion throughout
history, extremist groups have given the religion a bad name. I’m not saying that Islam
is not an exception, but they are definitely not as brutal and vicious as most people think.
This essay will clarify the issue of Muslim Fundamentalists and give a clearer, more
peaceful picture of Islam as a whole.
