Is Prophecy Possible?

Prophecy is not just possible, but it is an everyday part of your lives. To be a prophet, you do not have to have some innate born ability. All you have to do is have an active relationship with the divine influence, and He will speak to you and through you. Prophecy is the ability to predict an event, as John the Baptist did with Jesus. Though, believing in prophecies also carries some weight. Some might argue that to be able to predict our future is striping us of our freewill.
Another point to keep in mind is prophecies are not any genetic ability, but in most all cases, prophets are divinely controlled through God and transmit His message orally or through writings. Such as, when the King Nebuchadnezzar had a bad dream and woke up in a cold sweet, “So the king summoned the magicians, enchanters, sorcerers and astrologers to tell him what he had dreamed.”(Daniel 1:21).
